Megan Fox To Star In Fathom And Jonah Hex

From the "We Can't Believe Our Good Fortune Files":

Megan Fox will play Aspen in the upcoming movie Fathom, based on the comic book of the same name. Fathom is the story of a marine biologist who finds she can do all kinds of cool things underwater and who becomes involved in a war between previously unknown sub-aquatic species. The movie will also involve Megan and Aspen's outfit (on the right in pic above) in numerous water scenes. 'Nuff said about that.

But seriously, the resemblance between Megan and Aspen is striking. This is almost as good a match as Angelina Jolie and Lara Croft. Almost.

In related news, Fox will play in the new Jonah Hex movie. Jonah Hex is also based on a comic book...Jonah is a former alcoholic and confederate soldier turned loner and gunslinger. Oh, and supernatural too. Josh Brolin will play Jonah and Megan will play Leila, Jonah's gun slinging love interest.

And, of course, Megan will show up this summer in Revenge of the Fallen, the second installment of Transformers.

The Queen of Bizarre, Megan Fox, told an interviewer Sunday night at the Golden Globes.."I am pretty sure I am a doppelganger for Alan Alda.I'm a man. I'm so painfully insecure. I'm on the verge of vomiting now. I am so horrified that I am here, and embarrassed. I'm scared."

The Transformers and Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen star has been known for her shoot from the hip answers to interviewers since her meteoric rise to fame began.
