Van Being Towed For Multiple Parking Tickets In New York City Has Surprise Inside
A van that was being towed away in New York City after 4 parking tickets had been placed on it over a span of 4 consecutive weeks, had a surprise inside.
A dead body.
After one or more cops had taken the time to write the tickets over a months time, the tow truck driver that came to haul the van away noticed something unusual...a foul smell coming from inside the van through the partially open window. Upon closer inspection, the tow truck driver found 58-year-old George Morales expired on the back seat. The Medical Examiner verifies that Mr. Morales had been dead a month or more and he died of an apparent heart attack.
The deceased disappeared on May 5th when he took a trip to Long Island in the borrowed van. The van was found (again) under the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway on June 3rd.
Mr. Morales' daughter said he was a diabetic and had heart problems, and she speculates he may have felt ill and pulled under the expressway to rest or take a nap.
She was obviously dumbfounded that the vehicle was ticketed 4 times over a 4 week period and nobody bothered to look inside.
