Easter Sunday on Highway E18 south of Oslo was a normal day for traffic cops until a Mazda 323 sped by at roughly 100 Miles Per Hour (133 KPH) Now this is Europe folks, with real speed limits, so the Speed Limit on this stretch of road is 100 Kilometers per Hour.
The traffic cops followed the Mazda for about a kilometer and realized something was amiss...the car was veering from one side to other. Drunk driver, perhaps?
As the police got closer, they noticed that the 28 year old male driver had his 22 year old girlfriend in his lap. As they got closer still, the police got a better look at what they were doing. It. That's right...IT. They were screwing on the highway going 100 MPH.
Here are a few quotes from the superintendent of Soendre Buskerund district police.
"He couldn't see much because her back was in the way."
"Why they did it on a highway with such a high risk we don't know."
"We have taken away his driving licence because of the danger that he caused."
Danger? Ya think??
Prosecutors will decide within the next week what his punishment will be, with police having filmed the incident to use as evidence against the driver.
The Police Superintendent said he expected the driver to face a fine of "several thousand Norwegian crowns" and a lengthy driving ban.
Apparently with the Mile High Club becoming so large...a new club is being formed:
